Our Item no.: WSN 1450
The above photos show the type of watch that's perhaps the ultimate, canonical 'classic' Rolex; a design that's recognisable in almost every corner of this great world. And with this watch peaking from under the cuff of your smart and stylish sleeve, you just know that members of the great unwashed* will recognise you as a cut above the rest!
(*We're only joking when we refer to 'the great unwashed', of course.)
So this is a 36mm Rolex DATEJUST, with model reference number 16203. It was new in 2003, come with its box and papers, and is in good condition. (Inspecting the watch under a magnifier reveals some marks/scratches remaining after it has been refurbed/polished, but it looks very good viewed naturally / with the naked eye.) This watch was also serviced by Rolex in 2008: i.e., it underwent a complete overhaul by Rolex UK's Service Division, and we have the service guarantee certificate (with matching serial number) to evidence that. (In actuality, note that only a very small proportion of pre-owned Rolex watches have ever been serviced by Rolex, so this is a significant plus.)
The fabric of this watch is made up of an ever-attractive combination of 18-carat yellow gold and Rolex's own jewellery-grade (904L) stainless steel. The dial is 'champagne' (gold) coloured, and the case is mounted on the 'Oyster' type bracelet, which many consider to be Rolex's smarter and more modern looking design of bracelets.
This watch comes with all the usual benefits of Rolex's 'Oyster Perpetual' architecture, including a very robust, tank-like construction, an ultra-hard, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and a screw-down crown for resistance against water ingress. The automatic mechanical movement inside the case was developed and manufactured by Rolex in house (of course) with Rolex's usual obsessive and reassuring focus on precision and long-term dependability.
Our price for this item is £4,750 fully inclusive, which represents a great 'Rolex starter' price, especially for a Rolex that includes this much 18-ct yellow gold.
Note that (1) your outlay could be considerably less than this price, however, because we may also consider your existing Swiss watch in part exchange, and (2) we also offer 12 months of interest-free finance on upto 90% of the amount payable, subject to acceptance. (Application for finance would be made at our shop.)
