Summary

This is a 36mm Rolex DATEJUST with model number 16233. It was new in 1996 and is in very good condition, expecially so for its age. It comes with its box and papers.

The dial of this attractive watch is an unusual ivory/cream colour, something which (at least among Rolex cognoscenti) makes this particular example stand out from the rest, albeit in a subtle way.

This is a 'Rolesor' model, with a hermetically-sealed 'Oyster' casing and a decorative 'Jubilee' link bracelet which are both formed from a combination of very corrosion-resistant (904L-grade) stainless steel and 18-carat yellow gold. The 18-carat gold bezel is enhanced by its series of light-reflecting (polished) sparkly flutes and surrounds an ultra-hard sapphire glass/crystal, which is in perfect (unscratched / unchipped) condition.

The very 'Perpetual' automatic (self-winding) mechanical movement inside this watch has been individually and officially tested and COSC-certified as a Swiss chronometer after it was manufactured and assembled. This movement has the 'Quickset' date feature, enabling you to adjust the date without having to turn the hour hand.

Price and Guarantee

We're offering this very-good-condition example of the Rolex 16233 for the fully-inclusive price of £4,500. We can't of course make any promises, but a Rolex watch of this sort of age and in this condition has probably seen most of its depreciation and therefore may very well be worth about the same amount (or even more) in another 5 years' time, making the cost of ownership of Rolex watches like this one very low indeed: something definitely worth taking into account.

Also, your outlay could be considerably less than our headline price, because we may also consider your existing watch in part exchange.

In addition, when you buy this watch, we'll guarantee it for a full 12 months from the date of your purchase to give you peace of mind: we want you to be entirely satisfied with any purchase you make from us!

And we're not going anywhere either: if any work is required under that guarantee, it would be provided in our own on-site jewellery and watch-repair workshop by highly experienced Swiss-watch technicians.

This is one of the important benefits you get by dealing with a visitable 'bricks-and-mortar' boutique operating within Manchester's jewellery quarter based in and around St Ann's Square, and one of the reasons so many of our customers keep coming back to us when they decide to upgrade and/or trade in their watch.

To find out more...

To learn more about this very nice example of the classic Rolex Datejust, don't hesitate either to call us (on 0161 831 9649 during normal business hours, Mon-Sat inclusive) or to send us a message by tapping on the ENQUIRE button below.

However, we'd always encourage you to think about calling into our shop. There's really no substitute for handling, inspecting and trying on watches that have made it onto your wish list. So why not call in?

We're located just off St Ann's Square, in the heart of Manchester's city-centre shopping district. Here, you'll be able to browse typically over a hundred other pre-owned Swiss watches that we have out on display, each of which has been selected carefully, based on its condition, from among the many more watches that we see and handle every day.

With that many great-condition, pre-owned Swiss watches to choose from, you have a very good chance of being able to find one that's just right for you!

On the subject of the condition of the watches that we sell, please note that our main focus is on making available to the public only pre-owned Swiss watches that are in the very best condition, and rest assured, this particular watch is a great example of that effort.

For example, any watches we acquire in part-ex deals that are not up to our usual high standards are sold on to others in the trade: only the best (and most interesting) are offered to you via our shop and this website. This means we've done much of the legwork for you and that for you, the risks involved in buying pre-owned have been dramatically reduced.

[Note: this and our other watches are all displayed alongside a substantial but select stock of beautiful diamond jewellery items that we also sell, many of them with independently-certified diamonds.]

When enquiring about this item, please quote its unique stock/item number, which is WSN 893, so we can more easily identify and locate the watch and its details for you. Thank you.
