This is a beautiful Rolex DATEJUST 36 (36mm) with model reference number 116231 which looks like it's new! Its original Rolex white dial features ten sparkly diamonds for the hour markers (the other two hour positions being marked by the Rolex crown logo and the date aperture).
This 'green seal' watch was purchased new only in Nov 2016 and came with a 5-year international guarantee from Rolex, so at the time of this listing (Sept 2019) has over two years remaining on that guarantee, which adds to the peace of mind you already get by purchasing your next pre-owned Swiss-brand watch from such a solid concern as Swiss Watch Shop.
This item comes, of course, with its box, books and papers and is in excellent condition.
Aside from those prized diamond dots, the headline story for this watch is that gorgeous and lesser-seen combination of 18-carat rose ('Everose') gold and 904L premium-grade stainless steel.
As its name suggests, this model is nominally 36mm in size. (It actually measures approx 37mm across the case width excluding the rose-gold winding crown.)
For the DATEJUST, Rolex offer two main categories of bracelet, and this particular watch is mounted on their more decorative, jewellery-like one, known as the 'Jubilee'. This is formed from 5-piece, D-section links (designed to reflect light with an expensive-looking 'shimmer') and is closed with a neatly concealed 'Crown' clasp to give the bracelet an uninterrupted aesthetic. The middle link pieces carry on the theme of 18-carat rose gold (they are made from solid pieces of the material), and the grey of the outer link pieces made from steel contrasts beautifully with those.
The diamonds on the dial are also mounted in rose-gold settings, and the Rolex crown logo on the dial and the three hands are also made from rose gold to prevent tarnishing.
Naturally, this model benefits from the tank-like robustness of the 'Oyster' structure that all Rolex Oyster Perpetual watches share, such as the ultra-hard synthetic sapphire used for the 'glass' over the dial and the screw-down winding crown with 'Twinlock' double-waterproofness system which contributes to the watch's 100m water resistance.
Inside the casing is Rolex's calibre 3135 'Perpetual' (automatic/self-winding) movement, an officially COSC-certified Swiss chronometer.
This stunning watch, with its ever-beautiful combination of rose gold, grey steel and sparkly diamonds, is bound to signal a certain presence and status. It's the real deal, both conveying and symbolizing panache, success, quality and longevity. However, despite being an 'expensive' Rolex, experience tells us that this watch may well be at least a reasonable store of value over the medium term. It's one of the reasons we here at Swiss Watch Shop love pre-owned Rolex watches so much.
When you consider what you might still be able to get for this watch when you come to sell it on (or trade it in against another watch) in years to come, you begin to consider that owning a watch like this doesn't cost as much as many believe, something worth taking into account. (Many pre-owned Rolex watches have even proven to have cost their owners nothing, or even to make them money, over the span of their ownership due to how well some have either held or even increased their value.)
The last time we checked, the list or retail price for this model bought brand new was £9,650. But you can have this excellent-condition pre-owned example on your wrist for just £8,250 fully inclusive, a saving of £1400 compared to buying new. And yet this watch looks like new...
And your outlay could be considerably less than this headline price, because we may also consider your existing watch in part exchange.

Note that the accompanying photos are of the actual item that we have for sale. However, there's really no substitute for inspecting, handling and trying on a watch that you may be interested in buying. So we'd always encourage you to call into our shop here in Manchester to inspect the item closely, to try it on and to ask us all about it.
We're located just off St Ann's Square, in the heart of Manchester's city-centre shopping district. Here, you'll also be able to browse typically over a hundred other pre-owned Swiss watches that we have out on display, each of which has been selected carefully, based on its condition, from among the many more watches that we see and handle every day. With that many to choose from, you're bound to be able to find one that's just right for you!
On the subject of the condition of the watches that we sell, note that we work very hard to make available only the very best condition pre-owned Swiss watches to the public, and this particular watch is a great example of that effort. (Watches that we acquire in part-ex deals that don't come up to our high standards, for example, are sold into the trade: only the very best condition items make it onto our website and into our display cabinets.)
[Aside: this and our other watches are all displayed alongside a substantial but select stock of beautiful diamond jewellery items that we also sell, many of them with independently-certified diamonds.]
When enquiring about this particular Rolex watch, please quote its unique stock/item number, which is WSN 791, so we can more easily identify and locate the watch and its details for you. Thank you.
