Item no.: WSN 1355
This is a MINT-condition, 36mm Rolex DATEJUST in 'Everose Rolesor', Rolex's name for their stunning combination of 904L (jewellery-grade) stainless steel and 18-ct rose gold.
This watch has Rolex model reference number 116231, was new in 2011, comes with its box and papers and is in truly superb condition. (When we received it, it was carefully wrapped in cling film for its protection, giving a clue about the care with which the prior owner seems to have looked after this watch: this might explain why it is in such mint condition despite dating back to 2011!)
Besides its 18ct Everose gold, the other headline feature of this watch has to be that gorgeous 'sundust pink' dial. It is so beautiful in part because it is quite subtle: it's a shade of pink that's definitely not overdone.
And it is all the more effective for that fine radial-brushing, which you can see in the first photo above. (Note: the colour can be judged more accurately from the first photo above than from the second one: the colour the dial appears to have in the second photo is not as true, being affected by the way the light from the light box used reflects off the 'glass' (the crystal) over the dial.)
Being an Oyster Perpetual model, it's a rock-hard, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal that protects the dial and helps to seal the tank-like 36mm case against dust and water ingress. The Oyster case features a screw-down case back and a screw-down winding crown. Such features taken together easily achieve a water resistance to a static depth of at least 100m (330 ft). The watch is also mounted on an 'Oyster' type bracelet, a recognisable design which continues to look both contemporary and very smart, and one that we expect will continue to do so for many, many years to come.
Our Price and Guarantee
Our price for this stunning, mint-condition Rolex Datejust with its fairly rare and very special dial is £6,995 fully inclusive.
But it's vital to consider not only the price, but also the likely actual cost of ownership. The true cost of ownership can be estimated by considering how much this watch might be worth in, for example, 3 or 4 (or more) years' time. And it is only when you consider this, and how well Rolex watches tend to hold their values over the medium to long term, that it becomes clear that the monthly cost of owning this watch is likely to be very modest indeed, and could even prove either to cost you nothing or to make you some money if and when you come to sell it in the future.
Also, note that your cash outlay could be significantly less than our asking price above, because we may also consider your old Swiss watch in part exchange if you have one. (If there's any possibility you might like to do a part-exchange deal when you visit us, please bring your watch in with its box and papers if you still have them, together with some photo ID.)
Note that we can also offer 12 months of interest-free credit on upto 90% of the amount payable (subject to acceptance): this can be arranged in the shop.
To ensure you feel confident that you can deal with us with complete peace of mind, we will guarantee this item for a full 12 months from the date of your purchase. And we have the means to back up that guarantee fully: we have a lot of experience supporting Rolex watches as well as other makes, with our own on-site workshop manned by highly-experienced watch technicians, access to original parts, and even access to off-site technicians within our network for any trickier or specialist jobs that might, on rare occasions, be required. So rest assured, we have you covered.
