This watch, which is surely about as good looking as an all-steel watch can get, is a Breitling Cockpit, with model reference number A1335812/A595. It was new in 2008, comes with its box, papers and books and is in excellent, almost-like-new condition.
The polished finish which dominates nearly every visible surface of this great-looking, all-steel model means that it looks like a watch that is much more expensive than what we're asking for it. And you'll agree even more so when you see the watch in person, because it has been given a touch of decadence in the form of an attractive mother of pearl dial. (Unfortunately, the accompanying photos, although of the actual watch for sale, simply don't do any justice to the wonderful sense of depth, the lustre and the subtle colours of the piece of mother of pearl used due to the lighting used.)
Seriously, if you're after a Swiss watch from a well-known brand that is bound to make a great, conversation-starting impression on your peers and, well, one that also looks expensive (and let's face it, who isn't?), then this is a fantastic watch to do that: it's "impact-to-price" ratio is off the scale!
Some detailsAnother thing that simply can't be conveyed in the accompanying photos is the effect of this watch's combination of domed crystal, mother of pearl dial and polished Roman numerals: the lens effect of the crystal and the way the mother of pearl and the gently-curved, polished numerals have on the appearance of this watch as it moves about in the light really works to great effect.
But it's not all about looks. This model's robust casing houses a COSC-certified Swiss chronometer mechanical movement that includes a chronograph (stop-watch) complication. The chronograph provides a centre second hand and 30-minute and 12-hour totalizer subsidiary dials. (The ordinary time's second hand is in a small dial at the 9 o'clock position.)
The 100m water resistance of this model is matched by a screw-down winding crown and a uni-directionally rotatable (time-lapse) bezel featuring Breitling's four classic "rider tabs" for grip, making this a very practical watch too.
The case is mounted on an impressive-looking polished stainless steel Breitling link bracelet.
PriceOur price for this pre-owned, truly excellent condition watch is just £3,150 fully inclusive. For the way this watch will make you feel when you're wearing it, for the boost this kind of watch can give to your image and to how you come across to others, and for the admiring glances and the conversations it is likely to start (not to mention that it will, at least to some extent, be a store of value), that represents great value indeed.
Furthermore, when you purchase this watch, we will guarantee it for a full 12 months from the date of your purchase to give you peace of mind.
And we're not going anywhere either: that guarantee is backed up by having our own on-site jewellery and watch repair workshop and by the qualified Swiss-watch technicians with many years of experience we have available.
This is one of the important benefits you get by dealing with a real, visitable, bricks-and-mortar boutique operating within Manchester's jewellery quarter based in and around St Ann's Square, and one of the reasons so many of our customers keep coming back to us when they decide to upgrade and/or trade in their watch.
To find out more...Do you wish to know more about this particular watch? Or indeed about any of our watches? If so, please don't hesitate either to call us (on 0161 831 9649 during normal business hours, Mon-Sat inclusive) or send us a message now via our Contact Us page.
The accompanying photos are of the actual item that we have for sale. However, there really is no substitute for inspecting, handling and trying on a watch that you may be interested in buying, and that is particularly the case for this watch. So we would strongly encourage you pay a visit to our friendly 'boutique' here in Manchester in order to take a closer look.
We're located just off St Ann's Square in the heart of Manchester's city-centre shopping district. Here, you'll also be able to browse typically over a hundred other pre-owned Swiss watches that we have out on display, each of which has been selected carefully, based on its condition, from among the many more watches that we see and handle every day. With that many to choose from, you're bound to be able to find one that's just right for you.
On the subject of the condition of the watches that we sell, note that we work very hard to make available only the cream of pre-owned Swiss watches to the public, and this particular watch is a fantastic example of that effort. (Just as one example of how we "bubble up" the better-condition pre-owned Swiss watches into our shop's display cabinets and this website, watches that we acquire in part-exchange deals that aren't up to scratch are sold into our network of specialist trade buyers and smaller private traders.)
Aside: this and our other watches are all displayed alongside a substantial but select stock of beautiful diamond jewellery items that we also sell, many of them with independently-certified diamonds.
When enquiring about this particular Breitling, please quote its unique stock/item number, which is WSN 658, so we can more easily identify and locate the watch and its details for you. Thank you.
