Item no.: WSN 1417
Due to its stunning good looks, this BIG watch is definitely a talking point in the shop at the moment! It's a Breitling 'CHRONOMAT 44' with model reference number CB0110121C1P1. Take note: the CHRONOMAT 44s are the leading models among Breitling's watch collections.
Maybe that's why this is such a seriously 'grown-up' and expensive-looking watch: it's the sort of watch that, on your wrist, makes you look like you mean business and makes you feel like the proverbial million dollars! Nobody will see this on your wrist without taking you more seriously...
This item was new only in June of this year (2019) and therefore, as you would expect, is in mint (like-new) condition, and at the time of writing (late Oct 2019), thererfore has more than four and a half years remaining on its 5-year Breitling warranty (as stated on its electronic international warranty card)! How about that for reassurance and peace of mind?
As well as all its books and "papers", this watch comes with a very tasteful and attractive, brown presentation case/box.
The chronograph for all pilots
This watch's main features:
Case: The robust 44mm dia x approx 17mm thick case is made from polished stainless steel and features a screwed-in caseback, a gold bezel and gold crowns and push-buttons. It is water resistant to a depth of 500 m (1,650 ft). The gold bezel is a unidirectionally (ratcheted) rotatable time-lapse bezel. The screw-down crown features two gaskets, and the crystal protecting that beautiful blue dial is made from a piece of cambered, ultra-hard (scratch-resistant) sapphire, glareproofed on both sides. The water resistance and rotatable bezel combine to make this a serious diver's watch.
Movement: This watch houses Breitling's automatic (self-winding) mechanical Caliber 01, with a chronograph (stop-watch) complication. Designed with aviators in mind, the very movement in your watch is COSC tested and certified as an official Swiss chronometer. The chronograph enables the measurement of time periods to with 1/4 of a second, and includes 30-minute and 12-hour totalizers/counters. The movement beats at 28,800 v.p.h, has 47 jewel bearings and an above-average power reserve when fully wound of approx., 70 hours.
Strap: Soft blue rubber, closed with a push-button-release, polished stainless-steel folding deployant clasp. About 6mm of adjustment can be made to the strap's length without tools (by means of an easy-to-use mechanism built into the clasp).
Breitling's recommended retail price inclusive of VAT for this model is (at the time of writing, late Oct 2019) £7,930. Our price for this mint-condition conversation piece, which is only months old, is however only £5,750 fully inclusive, representing a saving of £2,200 compared to buying brand new! And yet you'd be very hard pressed to tell the difference between this and a brand new one.
Furthermore, your cash outlay might even be less than £5,750 if you own a Swiss watch that you might like to trade in against this item. (If there's a possibility you'd like to do a part-ex deal, please bring your watch in, with its box and papers if you still have them, when you come into the shop.)
In addition, we can also offer financing in the form of 12 months of interest-free credit on upto 90% of the amount: please contact the shop for details or to arrange an appointment.
