This is a 41.5mm Omega SPEEDMASTER '57 CO-AXIAL CHRONOGRAPH 41.5 MM with model reference number 3220.127.116.11.01.001. It comes with its immaculate (and attractive) presentation box, but (unusually for us) not its papers. However, we can provide a written card guaranteeing its authenticity.
We estimate that this watch was new in around 2015, and it is in very good condition.
The OMEGA Speedmaster is undoubtedly one of OMEGA’s most iconic timepieces. Watches from the Speedmaster family have been a part of all six lunar missions: as such, the Speedmaster is an impressive representation of what the brand quite rightly claim as their "adventurous pioneering spirit".
This model features a matt black dial with a seconds sub-dial at 9 o’clock and—somewhat of a novelty for mechanical chronographs—12-hour and 60-minute recorders that are combined into one sub-dial (the one at the 3 o’clock position).
There is a central chronograph seconds hand and a date window at the 6 o’clock position. Updating the earlier Speedmasters, an ultra-hard, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, which has been given an anti-reflective treatment, protects the historic dial. The very smart looking, flat, brush-finished bezel, with its tachymetric scale, is mounted on a 41.5 mm stainless steel case which is water resistant to a static depth of 100 metres (330 feet) and presented on a similarly smart, stainless-steel link bracelet.
At the heart of this timepiece is the OMEGA Co-Axial calibre 9300, the first chronograph in the brand’s family of in-house Co-Axial mechanical movements. And as you can see from one of the accompanying photos, you can marvel at and appreciate that stunning movement through the large display window in the back of the case: we'd recommend inspecting it through a magnifier so you can behold the intricacy, the precision engineering, the craftsmanship and the exquisite finishing involved!
Our Price and Guarantee
Our fully inclusive price for this very smart, indeed iconic, example of Switzerland's watchmaking tradition is £4,250 fully inclusive.
We'll usually also be more than happy to accept your existing Swiss watch (or watches) in part exchange, if you have one, so that your cash outlay could be a lot less than this amount: a great way for you to trade up! (If there's any possibility you might like to do a part-exchange deal when you visit us, please bring your watch(es) in with box and papers if you still have them, together with some photo ID.)
Note that we can also offer 12 months of interest-free credit for up to 90% of the amount payable (subject to acceptance): this would be arranged in the shop.
In order for you to have complete peace of mind in dealing with us, we will guarantee this item for a full 12 months from the date of your purchase. And we have the underpinnings to support such a guarantee too: we have a lot of experience supporting the brands of watches that we sell, with our own, well-equipped, on-site workshop manned by highly-experienced watch technicians. We also have access to original parts and to off-site technicians within our network for any of those trickier or more specialist jobs that might, on rare occasions, be required.
To find out more
If you'd like to know more about this item, or indeed about any of our other pre-owned watches from the prestigious, recognised and celebrated Swiss brands in which we deal, please don't hesitate to call us on 0161 831 9649 (normal business hours, Mon-Sat inclusive). Alternatively, why not send us a message now**?
The accompanying photos are of the actual item that we have for sale. Despite that, we would of course always suggest you call into our shop if you can: we think it'd even be worth a special trip into Manchester!
After all, there really is no better way to check out a watch that you might be interested in owning than to come and take a closer look at it. Inspect it, handle it, try it on for size and ask us about it! Of course, while you're here, you can browse our large collection of other superlative-condition famous Swiss brand watches. In any case, not only would you be very welcome, but you'll also be in the heart of Manchester's shopping district (we're located near M&S, just off St Ann's Square) and there are plenty of places nearby to enjoy a coffee too, so why not plan a visit soon?
Here, you're typically able to browse around one hundred and fifty pre-owned Swiss watches that we have out on display, each of which has been carefully selected, based on its condition, from among the many more watches that we see and handle every day. (To a large extent, that's in effect what we do: we 'filter' pre-owned watches. Only the very best of what we buy in or receive in part exchange deals make it onto our display shelves and onto this website, and this Omega is a great example of our selectiveness. The rest are sold on: for example, to smaller dealers in the trade.)
The result is that we probably have THE BEST collection in the UK's North West of pre-owned Swiss watches in terms of their condition! Why not take advantage of that fact, because it can make it much easier for you to find your next (or perhaps your first) watch that's in the sort of condition that you would prefer, a watch that could give you satisfaction for years to come.
