Item no.: WSN 1531
I love it when I get to inspect and photograph Rolex watches that are far from new and yet are in such superb condition!
Despite the fact that this Rolex DATEJUST (model reference number 16233) is thirty years old(!), it's in incredible condition: it's almost like new, I don't think it has ever been polished (if it has, it's been done extremely gently and sensitively) and therefore its edges are clean/sharp, and its brush-finished surfaces look original and untainted.
The gold bezels of older Rolex watches, being softer than steel, tend to reveal small dents and scratches (when viewed through a magnifier at least), but you'd almost have to get the microscope out to spot any on this watch!
This 36mm Datejust was new in 1990 and comes with box and papers/cert. It's dial stands out from the crowd a little too (at least to anyone who has seen many Datejusts) for its 'flat' finish. That is, the champagne dial is matt, and not brush-finished metallic, unlike most Datejust champagne dials. Furthermore, its flat-faced, polished gold Roman numerals also differ from the hour markers of most Datejusts.
Our Price & Guarantee
Note however that your cash outlay could, of course, be significantly less than this, because we may also consider your existing Swiss watch(es) in part exchange. (If you'd like to do a part-exchange deal, please bring in your existing watch(es), complete with box and papers if you still have them, together with some photo ID.)
We can also offer 12 months of interest-free credit on up to 90% of the amount payable (provided by V12), subject to acceptance. (Such finance would need to be arranged on the premises.)
For your peace of mind, note that we will guarantee this watch for a full 12 months from the date of purchase.
To find out more
If you'd like to know more about this rather special watch, or indeed if you'd like to know more about any of our other pre-owned watches from the prestigious, recognised and celebrated Swiss brands in which we deal, please don't hesitate to call us (on 0161 831 9649 during normal business hours, Mon-Sat inclusive). Alternatively, send us a message now!
But if you're seriously interested, we'd always suggest you call into our shop if you can, ideally the sooner the better! There really is no better way to check out a watch that you might be interested in owning than to come and take a closer look at it. Inspect it, handle it, try it on for size and ask us about it! Of course, while you're here, you might also wish to browse our large collection of other watches. In any case, you'd be very welcome, so why not call in soon?
We're located just off St Ann's Square, in the heart of Manchester's city-centre shopping district. Here, you're typically able to browse over a hundred and fifty pre-owned Swiss watches that we have out on display, each of which has been carefully selected, based on its condition, from among the many more watches that we see and handle every day. (That's in effect what we do: we 'filter' pre-owned watches. Only the very best of what we buy in or receive in part exchange deals make it onto our display shelves and onto this website. The rest are sold on to smaller dealers in the trade.)
With that many prime-condition, pre-owned Swiss watches to choose from, it's likely that we offer you **THE BEST** chance in the UK's North West region (and far beyond) of being able to find your next—or indeed your first—watch of the sort of calibre and in the sort of condition that you deserve; a watch that leaves you feeling fully satisfied that you've chosen just the right one.
When enquiring about this particular watch, please quote its unique stock/item number, which is WSN 1531, so we can more easily identify and locate the watch and its details for you. Thank you.
