Item no.: WSN 1516
This is a steel-on-steel Omega Seamaster with full, official model name DIVER 300M OMEGA CO-AXIAL MASTER CHRONOMETER 42 MM, and with full model number 21032422001001 (or 188.8.131.52.01.001).
Make no mistake, this is a SERIOUS and STUNNING, HIGH-SPEC DIVING WATCH that LOOKS FANTASTIC, and FEELS FANTASTIC in the hand too!
This particular example is sharp, crisp and clean, being in virtually like-new / mint condition. It was new only in Nov 2018, comes with its impressive, high-quality presentation box (other watch makers could learn a thing or two about box quality from the box that came with this watch) and comes with all its "papers" (cards) too. The five-year warranty that now comes with an Omega watch* means that this one is under warranty until 2nd Nov 2023! (How's that for peace of mind?)
(*Omega's five-year warranties apply to any Omega watch purchased on or after 1st July, 2018: this one was purchased on 3rd Nov 2018.)
This 42 mm model has been crafted from stainless steel, and includes a uni-directionally rotatable bezel with a black *ceramic* insert ("ceramic bezel") with a white-enamel diving scale. However, not only is the bezel's insert made from condition-protecting ceramic, but so too is the dial: in this case, the black ceramic is polished, and features a slick, laser-engraved wave pattern. A window displays the date at the 6 o’clock position.
The skeleton hands and raised indices are rhodium-plated and filled with white Super-LumiNova luminescence.
So what marks this watch out as a serious and highly desirable bit of professional diving kit?
- The fact that it has an automatic (self-winding) mechanical movement (i.e., no dependency on batteries);
- A uni-directionally rotatable (diver's time-lapse) bezel
- Water resistance to a depth of 300 metres or 1000 feet (static)
- A screw-down crown (supports the water resistance)
- Effective lume for visibility in the murky depths
- A helium escape valve at the 10 o'clock position
The Seamaster DIVER is presented on a stainless steel link bracelet, and is driven by the OMEGA Master Chronometer Calibre 8800 movement, the sheer craftsmanship and precision of which can be appreciated through the sapphire crystal mounted within the wave-edged back of the case (see photo).
To achieve 'Master Chronometer' status, the very movement inside this watch has passed the 8 rigorous tests set by METAS (The Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology).
This fantastic-looking Omega, this conversation piece, this well-crafted and virtually "bomb-proof" tool watch could be displayed on your wrist for just £3,750 fully inclusive. That's an incredible price for such a well-spec'd, Swiss diving watch that looks this good!
Furthermore, the amount of money you lay out could be much less than this, because we may also consider your old watch in part exchange. (If there's any possibility you might like to do a part-exchange deal when you visit us, please bring your watch in with its box and papers if you still have them, together with some photo ID!)
Also note that we now offer interest-free credit on upto 90% of the amount payable, subject to acceptance. (This would be applied for / arranged in the shop.)
To find out more
If you'd like to know more about this impression-making conversation piece, or indeed about any of our many other pre-owned watches from the prestigious, recognised and celebrated Swiss brands in which we deal, please don't hesitate to call us on 0161 831 9649 (normal business hours, Mon-Sat inclusive). Alternatively, why not send us a message now?*
The first of the above photos is of the actual watch that we have available, and the second one is from another watch with virtually the same model number/spec (i.e., the same model except for the colour of the dial and bezel). In any case, there really is no better way to check out a watch that you might be interested in owning than to come and take a closer look at it, so we'd always suggest you call into our shop if you can to see a watch in person: we think it'd even be worth a special trip into Manchester!
Come in, inspect it, handle it, try it on for size and ask us about it! Of course, while you're here, you might also wish to browse our large collection of other watches. In any case, not only would you be very welcome, but you'll also be in the heart of Manchester's shopping district (we're located just off St Ann's Square) and there are plenty of places nearby to enjoy a coffee too, so why not plan a visit soon?
Here, you're typically able to browse around a hundred and fifty pre-owned Swiss watches that we have out on display, each of which has been carefully selected, based on its condition, from among the many more watches that we see and handle every day. (To a large extent, that's in effect what we do: we 'filter' pre-owned watches. Only the very best of what we buy in or receive in part exchange deals make it onto our display shelves and onto this website. The rest are sold on, for example to smaller dealers in the trade.)
With that many prime-condition, pre-owned Swiss watches to choose from, we probably offer you **the BEST chance in the region** of being able to find your next—or indeed your first—watch of the sort of calibre and in the sort of condition that you deserve.
*When enquiring about this particular watch, please quote its unique stock/item number, which is WSN 1516, so we can more easily identify and locate the watch and its details for you. Thank you.
