Summary

Falling well and truly within the category of high-demand, hard-to-get-hold-of (and therefore uptrending) Rolex 'Professional'/sports/tool models, this particular 42mm, black-dial Rolex SKY-DWELLER is in pristine/mint condition! This watch has Rolex model reference number 326934 (a current model), was new in 2018 and comes with its box and papers. (Its booklet is in German.)

TIP: If you want to be seen with a particularly special / rare Rolex model on your wrist, then give this watch serious consideration, because out of all of the Rolex model families, Sky-Dwellers are probably the range we come across and acquire the least often.

This item is (of course) a 'green-seal' Rolex watch, meaning that it came with a 5-year international guarantee from Rolex: it might be reassuring to note that, at the time of listing (Jan 2020), approximately 3 years of that guarantee still remain.

The main, novel feature of the Sky-Dweller is the provision/display of two time zones simultaneously. Local time is indicated by the conventional centre hour, minute and seconds hands. The fixed inverted red triangle on the dial points to the chosen reference time – i.e., the time at your home or usual workplace – on that famous off-centre 24-hour disc. The dials now feature rectangular index hour markers and longer hands, as well as a Chromalight display with long-lasting, blue luminescence, for enhanced legibility. The date displayed in the aperture changes instantaneously when midnight occurs in the wearer’s local time zone.

Another very neat and novel feature of this model is the display of the current month by means of a red marker via the 12 apertures around the dial's circumference.

Some of the watch's funtionality comes via the novel fluted bidirectionally-rotatable 'Ring Command' bezel, which is fashioned from 18-carat white gold.

Inside this model is Rolex's Calibre 9001, a self-winding mechanical movement developed and manufactured entirely by Rolex. Protected by seven patents, this movement is one of the most complex ever developed by the brand. Its architecture, innovative features and the quality of its manufacturing are all aimed at achieving superlative, COSC-beating precision (of -2/+2 sec per day, after casing) and (as ever with Rolex movements) reassuringly dependable reliability.

Of course, being an 'Oyster Perpetual' model, the dial is protected under a rock-hard sapphire crystal that helps to seal the tank-like case against dust and water ingress. The Oyster case features a screw-down case back and a screw-down winding crown, the latter of which features a 'Twinlock' double waterproofness system. Such features taken together easily achieve a water resistance to a static depth of at least 100m (330 ft).

The Sky-Dweller's case is mounted on a solid-link 'Oyster' type bracelet in Rolex's own grade of stainless steel. This bracelet benefits from the new concealed attachment system beneath the bezel, ensuring a visually seamless continuity between the bracelet and the case. It is equipped with a folding clasp, and also features the very clever and very neat patented 'Easylink' rapid extension system. This allows the wearer to increase the bracelet length easily, by approximately 5 mm, for extra comfort (for example, in warmer weather).

Our Price

We can also offer 12 months of interest-free credit on up to 90% of the amount payable, subject to acceptance. (This finance would need to be arranged on the premises.)

To find out more

If you'd like to know more about this watch, a watch that will set you apart from the crowd, or indeed about any of our other pre-owned watches from the prestigious, recognised and celebrated Swiss brands in which we deal, please don't hesitate to call us (on 0161 831 9649 during normal business hours, Mon-Sat inclusive). Alternatively, send us a message now!

And if you're seriously interested, we'd always suggest you call into our shop if you can, ideally the sooner the better. (Seriously! Sky-Dwellers, especially in such mint condition, don't become available often.) There really is no better way to check out a watch that you might be interested in owning than to come and take a closer look at it. Inspect it, handle it, try it on for size and ask us about it! Of course, while you're here, you might also wish to browse our large collection of other watches. In any case, you'd be very welcome, so why not call in soon?

We're located just off St Ann's Square, in the heart of Manchester's city-centre shopping district. Here, you're typically able to browse around a hundred and fifty pre-owned Swiss watches that we have out on display, each of which has been carefully selected, based on its condition, from among the many more watches that we see and handle every day. (That's in effect what we do: we 'filter' pre-owned watches. Only the very best of what we buy in or receive in part exchange deals make it onto our display shelves and onto this website. The rest are sold on to smaller dealers in the trade.)

With that many prime-condition, pre-owned Swiss watches to choose from, it's likely that we offer you **THE BEST** chance in the UK's North West region (and far beyond) of being able to find your next—or indeed your first—watch of the sort of calibre and in the sort of condition that you deserve; a watch that leaves you feeling fully satisfied that you've chosen just the right one.

When enquiring about this particular watch, please quote its unique stock/item number, which is WSN 1501, so we can more easily identify and locate the watch and its details for you. Thank you.
