Summary

This is a steel-on-steel Omega Seamaster with full, official model name PLANET OCEAN 600M OMEGA CO-AXIAL MASTER CHRONOMETER 43.5 MM, and with full model number 21530442101001 (or 215.30.44.21.01.001).

This watch was new in Dec 2016, comes with a large (and very nice) presentation box and all its 'papers' (cards), and is in excellent, almost-like-new condition.

This model features a scratch-resistant, ultra-hard domed sapphire crystal (complete with anti‑reflective treatment on both sides) and a glossy, jet-black ceramic dial (a CERAMIC DIAL!!) with Arabic numerals and a date window at the 3 o’clock position. Also sporting a black ceramic insert is the unidirectionally rotatable bezel, complete with OMEGA Liquidmetal™ diving scale. This is mounted on a big and chunky (43.5 mm) stainless steel case.

Other features include an alveol screw-in caseback and a stainless steel bracelet with patented extendable foldover clasp.

This is a serious, professional diver's watch with a water resistance down to 600 metres (2000 feet / 60 bar) and a helium-escape valve. Furthermore, the precision, engineering and craftsmanship involved in the OMEGA Master Chronometer calibre 8900 that sits at the heart of this timepiece can be appreciated through the transparent caseback! (There aren't many serious diving watches like this one that also come with a display window in the back of the case! This is indeed a very special watch...)

To achieve 'Master Chronometer' status, the very movement inside this watch has passed the 8 rigorous tests set by METAS (The Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology).

Price and Guarantee

This masculine and incredibly smart-looking Omega, this conversation piece, has (as of Feb 2020) a retail/list price of £5,220 [source: omegawatches dot com]. However, you could be the proud owner of this excellent-condition 2016 example for just £4,450 fully inclusive. That represents a solid saving of £770 or 14.75% compared to buying brand new.

Furthermore, the amount of money you outlay could be even less than this, because we may also consider your old watch in part exchange. (If there's any possibility you might like to do a part-exchange deal when you visit us, please bring your watch in with its box and papers if you still have them, together with some photo ID!)

Also note that we now offer interest-free credit: please contact the shop for details.

For your maximum reassurance, note that we will guarantee the functioning of this item for a full 12-month period from the date of your purchase.

To find out more

If you'd like to know more about this great-looking, impression-making watch (or indeed about any of our other pre-owned watches from the prestigious, recognised and celebrated Swiss brands in which we deal), please don't hesitate to call us on 0161 831 9649 (normal business hours, Mon-Sat inclusive). Alternatively, send us a message now.*

Unusually for us, the accompanying photos are actually our own library photos of another item that we sold recently with the exact same model number and specification. But then we'd always suggest you call into our shop if you can anyway: we think it'd even be worth a special trip into Manchester! There really is no better way to check out a watch that you might be interested in owning than to come and take a closer look at it. Inspect it, handle it, try it on for size and ask us about it! Of course, while you're here, you might also wish to browse our large collection of other watches. In any case, not only would you be very welcome, but you'll also be in the heart of Manchester's shopping district (we're located just off St Ann's Square) and there are plenty of places nearby to enjoy a coffee too, so why not plan a visit soon?

Here, you're typically able to browse around a hundred and fifty pre-owned Swiss watches that we have out on display, each of which has been carefully selected, based on its condition, from among the many more watches that we see and handle every day. (To a large extent, that's in effect what we do: we 'filter' pre-owned watches. Only the very best of what we buy in or receive in part exchange deals make it onto our display shelves and onto this website. The rest are sold on, for example to smaller dealers in the trade.)

With that many prime-condition, pre-owned Swiss watches to choose from, we probably offer you **THE BEST** chance in the region of being able to find your next—or indeed your first—watch of the sort of calibre and in the sort of condition that you deserve.

*When enquiring about this particular watch, please quote its unique stock/item number, which is WSN 1488, so we can more easily identify and locate the watch and its details for you. Thank you.
